Such a neat job they did on the flat roof it looks lovely and hasnt let in a drop since they were here. Mike and his lads were such nice people I didnt mind them being around the place at all. Price was fair I thought. Only thing was they were a day later starting than planned but sure these things happen. Would recommend them without hesitation.

you guys, seriously — Proven Roofing are just the ones to call, full stop! mike and the lads were so sound, fair price, no messing. already told everyone on the Ballincollig neighbours page and honestly the response was mad, loads of people asking for the number. would go back to them for anything roof related without a second thought!

Got three quotes in total — Proven Roofing came in mid-range. Booked through their website contact form, got a response within a few hours which I appreciated. Scheduling was straightforward, they confirmed the start date by text. Work began on the Tuesday as agreed. The chimney rebuild took two days. New flaunching, repointing, and lead flashing all done. Crew were tidy and left the site clean. Only niggle was the inital communication after day one was a bit quiet — would have liked a quick update without having to chase. That said, the finished job is solid and I'd recommend them.

Jim and his colleague did a fantastic job of replacing broken roof tiles and did a thorough inspection of the attic to make sure there were no leaks. Their work was quick and was available to call in even on bank holiday weekend. They charged a nominal fee for the job which I was very happy with.

Third time we've used Proven Roofing now — they did the full roof replacement a few years back and sorted the chimney flashings last winter, so when the gutters started pulling away at the back of the house, Mike was the first call I made. The lads spotted that a downpipe had been poorly fitted at some point — not by them — and was causing water to back up behind the fascia. They flagged it, sorted it as part of the job, no fuss made. That kind of thing is why we keep coming back. As ever, would highly recommend them.

The soffits and fascia and all the new guttering are up now a few weeks and I have to say the whole front and back of the house looks completely different, in a good way, it all looks very clean and neat and finished properly, not like years ago when I had a lad from Bandon come out to do a smaller job along the back, and that was a disaster from start to finish, gaps left, guttering pulling away within the year, I won't go into it, but it put me off for a long time to be honest, so when the wife said we needed to get the whole lot replaced I was a bit slow enough to pick up the phone, but a neighbour over in Ballincollig had used Mike and said he was sound and the job was done well, so I gave Proven Roofing a ring, and they came out, had a good look at everything, told me what was needed, no nonsense about it, and when the lads arrived to do the work they just got on with it, no standing around, and the cleanup after was spot on too, not a scrap of old material left behind, which matters to me, I'll be recommending them to my brother in law who has a place out near Kinsale and has the same issue with his guttering, the whole job is just very solid looking and I'm happy with it.

Honestly the cleanup at the end is what got me! Mike's crew left the whole front of the house so tidy — you would never have known anyone was there. Not a scrap of debris, nothing left behind. That attention to detail just makes the whole exterior look so much more put-together. Only reason it's not five stars is it took a day longer than expected to get started.
